About Tallow
Why Is The Consistency Of My Tallow Different From My Last Jar?
For every batch of tallow we use the same quality ingredients and grass fed/ grass finished tallow, however, even then each batch can vary in consistency due to being an animal based product. Variances come from specifics of the cattle’s environment such as their particular diet, the climate, the species of cow, and the cow’s age. Tallow is the fat primarily surrounding the kidneys and other major organs which is rich in fatty acids. The molecular structure of the fatty acids in each cow are different from those environmental factors which can affect the texture of how soft or hard the tallow comes to be. Also tallow balms tend to be more hard/ firm in the winter-cold weather, and more soft in the warmer weather. If you prefer your tallow to be more hard you can always put it in the refrigerator. If you prefer warmer you can keep in the bathroom/ warmer environment- just note in humid environment tallow may sweat/ oils may separate. Though each tallow balm can vary in consistency, the quality and effectiveness remains the same.
Where do you source your tallow from?
We source our tallow from beef suet (which is highest in quality and beneficial nutrients) from a regenerative, organic farm. These cattle are 100% grass-fed/grass-finished, pasture-raised, humanely-raised, grain-free, chemical-free, antibiotic-free, hormone-free, steroid-free, and non-GMO.
What Is The Expected Shelf Life Of Tallow?
Tallow is best used within 12 months of opening. Keep it in a cool room and stay away from direct sunlight.

How much does delivery cost?
Shipping costs within the Netherlands is €4,95. For all other countries, please input your address details on the order page.
Where do you deliver?
At the moment we offer delivery within the EU and Switzerland. Please be aware that duties must be paid in Switzerland.
Where is My Order and Delivery Information?
You should expect to see an order confirmation email immediately upon payment and a shipping confirmation email within 1-2 business days of placing your order. If this is not the case, please check your junk email as often our automated emails will revert to your junk folder.
Exchanges & Returns
What is your return policy?
Our returns policy is super simple! You have 14 days from the date of receiving your item to start a return. We accept returns for all orders, provided they are in the same condition that you received them in. This means they’re unopened, unused and any seals are intact. Please contact contact@rumiskinofficial.com to start your return.
If you receive a damaged, faulty or incorrect item, please contact our customer service team through contact@rumiskinofficial.com who will resolve this for you on a case-by-case basis. Please make sure you have photographic or video evidence to help us process your claim as quickly as possible.
What happens once my return has been received?
Once received, we'll refund the amount for the returned goods or process you a new order for an exchange based on which you specified! Once this is processed, we’ll send you a notification via email. This can take 3-5 working days from the date we receive the return.
When will I receive my fund?
Your refund will be returned to your account within 5 working days of your return being received. We’ll send you an email to let you know it's on its way!
